Hai só uns días escoitamos na CADENA SER que morreu en Estados Unidos Morris Richard Jeppson ( na fotografía), un dos técnicos a bordo do Enola Gay no fatídico voo sobre a cidade de Hiroshima

O Enola Gay foi o bombardeiro B-29 que lanzou a primeira bomba atómica utilizada durante a segunda guerra mundial sobre a cidade xaponesa de Hiroshima, o 6 de agosto de 1945. A bomba foi bautizada como Little Boy. O Enola Gay tomou o seu nome da nai do piloto, o coronel Paul Tibbets. Tres días máis tarde, outro B-29, o Bockscar, lanzou unha segunda bomba atómica, Fat Man, sobre Nagasaki. Little Boy e Fat Man foron as únicas armas nucleares utilizadas contra cidades. (Wikipedia).
